iPad faces problems whilst charging from USB

The Apple iPad which saw its launch two days back is witnessing feedbacks of mixed nature. The current grudge with the users of tablet is an issue which arises when they try to charge the iPad via USB.

It created a rage across the users when the message flashed 'not charging' on the device's menu bar. Later it was revealed that the tablet device comes with huge requirements for charging and thus, old PCs and laptops fail to charge the mighty iPad.

It was further seen in the Mac website, Macworld that if one has to charge the iPad, it will be advisable to use the 10-watt USB power charger that has been provided with the device. Interestingly, it was noted that the device took longer time for charging when it was charged with a high-power USB port, which comes with the iPad and worked upon at the same instant.

However, Apple told MacWorld that one has to put the device in 'sleep' mode, in order to charge with old USB ports.
