Indian fast bowler, Irfan Pathan, who had bowled many great batsmen, was bowled himself by Shivangi Dev who is his friend and daughter of an Indian diplomat in Australia.

Pathan, and Shivangi know each other from last six years and now they have decided to turn this friendship into a holy relation of husband and wife.

Irfan said that they first met each other during a practice match in Canberra in 2003 and they will now marry with each other as their parents has finally given their consent for this marriage.

He further added that it took some time for us to be comfortable with each other as Shivangi did not talked much during their first meeting due to shyness.

Shivangi has been working as a chartered accountant in Australia and she also teaches dance to children as Irfan said that she has been a very good dance teacher with many fans following her in the dance school.
