It’s All About Rajeev Khandelwal

After the success of his debut film ‘Aamir’, now TV star Rajiv Khandelwal or Rajiv Khandelwal's debut film ‘Aamir’‘Sujal’ from Ekta’s daily soap ‘Kahiin Toh Hoga’ has been getting more offers from the Bollywood industry.

Aamir’s pacy story and Rajeev’s performance as an NRI doctor in search of his family in Mumbai set the box-office afire, and showered him with critical acclaim for his role in the movie.

The actor himself had not expected such brilliant reaction.

Rajeev said, “At no point of time did we have any doubt in our mind that this film is being released opposite Sarkar Raj because we were very proud of our film. But then we believed that in today's time two films can run parallelly. And personally I was very proud for being pitched against Mr Bachchan who is a legend. At no point of time were we scared.”

Rajeev, who seems to have made the right beginning in Bollywood, is not willing to say goodbye to the small screen so far. Like every novice he too is waiting for the right script and challenging role on the small screen.

“I don't have any time for daily soaps but if TV offers me a good role I will surely do it,” he said.

Moreover, UTV’s Spotboy, the production company of ‘Aamir’, has already signed Rajeev for its next venture to be directed by John Owen, a British filmmaker presently based in India.

The movie will be shot in Goa after the monsoons.

Apart from this, Rajeev has also given his nod to a movie by Tanuja Chandra. The story of the movie will be written by Tanuja’s mother Kamna who has previously penned scripts for Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Raj Kapoor and Yash Chopra.
