Kaka not interested in move to Real Madrid

Kaka not interested in move to Real Madrid Rome - AC Milan star Kaka has ruled out a possible transfer to Real Madrid, which this week had been rumoured by Spanish media but dismissed by the Italian club.

"I didn't have contacts with Real Madrid," the 26-year-old Brazilian told La Gazzetta dello Sport Thursday. "No one looked for me. I think I have declared my pleasure and my will to remain at Milan.

"I think I have some trust from the fans because I showed that I want to stay in Milan. There was a moment of doubt (in January) with Manchester City. I didn't know what could have happened, but then I decided and now, I repeat, I don't have any contacts.

"Milan are going to build a winning team, as they always did. I stayed on because of the affection of the fans."

The 2007 FIFA world player is playing his sixth season with Milan, where he has won a national title in 2004 and, in 2007, the Champions League and the Club World Cup.

Earlier this week, Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said his club was not interested in an offer of 60 million euros (80 million dollars) allegedly made by Real.(dpa)
