Kollywood Pays Homage To Mumbai VictimsThe
entire Tamil film industry paid homage to the gallant NSG commandos and
police personnel who lost their lives while battling the terrorists in
the country’s financial capital, Mumbai last week.

All the industry artistes including both young and old gathered at the
Nadigar Sangam office premises in T. Nagar to participate in the homage
session organized by Nadigar Sangam.

The sober event saw the artiste take a pledge against violent forces
that were unleashed in the attacks. The members together read a
condolence message for those brave NSG commandos, policemen and
innocent citizens who had lost their lives that day. Speaking on this,
actor Dhanush said, “I am here to offer my condolences to the families
of the victims.”

Besides this, the artiste also illumed the candles in front of the
giant poster which had photos of the officers Kamthe, Salaskar, Karkare
and the NSG’s Unnikrishnan. General Secretary of the association, Radha
Ravi read out the pledge on this occasion.

Almost the entire film industry including Producers' Council president
Ramanarayanan, Nadigar Sangam secretary Radha Ravi, actors Sathyaraj,
Arjun, Jayam Ravi, Srikanth, Prasanna, Dhanush, Vivek, Abbas, Jiiva,
Jithan Ramesh, Sarath Babu, Bharath, Karthi, Parthiban, Murali,
Shakthi, Sukanya, Raadika, Mumtaj, Latha and Sripriya were present at
the event. Directors P. Vasu, Muktha Sreenivasan, Guganathan and
producers Kalaipuli Sekaran, Sivasakthi Pandian, Pattiyal Sekar were
also present.

All those who were present on this occasion pledge to promote the spirit of national unity and heralded Mother India.
