UAE based Spark Mobiles has announced its foray into the Indian market.

The company has appointed actor R Madhavan as its brand ambassador.  

The mobile manufacture is scheduled to launch its handsets in the country before the end of 2009.

Speaking on this, the actor said: “The single most important factor that convinced me to endorse this product was the amount of research and development that has gone into the making of the phones.”

The ad campaign featuring Madhavan will be launched in December. This will include TVC, radio, print, OOH and digital media.

The Tamil and Bollywood actor is currently looking forward for two big releases: Rajkumar Hirani's ‘3 Idiots’ and Leena Yadav's ‘Teen Patti’.  

In ‘3 Idiots’, Madhavan is working with Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor and in ‘Teen Patti’ he would be seen along with celebrated actors such as Amitabh Bachchan and Sir Ben Kingsley.
