Manhart refines Tesla Model 3 EV with lowered suspension, new carbon front splitter

Manhart, a company known for refining and optimizing vehicles to provide unparalleled experience, has now enhanced the Tesla Model 3 electric sedan by making a few tweaks the electric car.

The aftermarket vehicle tuning specialist has given the Tesla 3 electric sedan a modest makeover by adding some unique features to it to enhance it s visual presence. The biggest tweak made to the EV is the addition of a new suspension. The Manhart TM3 510 has received lowering springs from H&R, which brought the vehicle even closer to the ground. New 21-inch Manhart Barracuda rims have been added to boost its visual presence. The company has presented ‘Platinum Gray’ rims, but potential buyers will be offered rims in various colors to choose from. The rims come wrapped by 235/30R21 tires.

A new carbon front splitter has also been added to the Tesla Model 3. Of course, it is not the EV’s only visual upgrade. A decal set colored red and gray embellishes the EV, and a stripe covers the hood as well as the trunk. The side-mirror stalks of the car also feature red accents. In addition, the decal set includes a sticky label for the front fascia, giving the car a honeycomb grille-like appearance.

While the electric sedan’s minimalist interior hasn’t been upgraded, the aftermarket vehicle tuning specialist has announced that the cabin upgrades could be offered upon a customer’s request. The braking system of the vehicle can also be tweaked for better performance.

The Model 3 EV with specialist’s upgrade is based on the world-famous vehicle’s dual-motor Performance trim. When it comes to performance, the Manhart TM3 510 churns out 513 hp (377 kilowatts) and 486 pound-feet (660 Newton-meters) of torque. Power comes from the standard 82-kilowatt-hour (kWh) lithium-ion battery pack that is currently being offered by Tesla. It may be noted here that the all-electric model’s ‘510’ designation roughly denotes the car’s output.

Manhart’s special focus was initially on refining M-GmbH vehicles, but it gradually expanded into the world of several luxury brands, including Audi, Land rover, Lamborghini, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Toyota and Volkswagen. Several of the company’s upgrades for various models of other brands often include massive powertrain performance hikes. Cars tweaked by Manhart often produce much higher power than the stock variant, but that level of tweaking is difficult to do with electric cars, simply because manufacturers lock down the vehicle’s software from any sort of hacking and tinkering.
