ITC has lined up projects worth Rs. 23,000 crore in its centenary year, across the business segments of FMCG, paper, paperboards and packaging and hotels, taking every opportunity due to the growth of the Indian economy.

The company has passed a resolution to double its share capital to Rs. 1,000 crore and acquisitions are being checked out in all the areas by the company.

The celebrated rock band, Aerosmith, seems to have fashioned a lot of buzz over the last year. The rumor mills are targeting them, regarding upcoming shows as well as tours. Some have even questioned the legendary front man Steven Tyler’s devotion to the band.

During Tyler’s absence Joe Perry, lead guitarist sort of, knew about Tyler’s return. However, he did want to audition a new singer who would be more devoted to the band.

This way the band would be able to play all the shows for which they have been booked throughout 2010.

May be it’s just Sir Paul McCartney, who could call a musical performance at the White House a small club gig! The former Beatles member did a show there recently.

In the month of June this year, Sir McCartney was presented with the prestigious Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. This award is an honor bestowed upon the apt candidate by the Library of Congress.

After accepting the award, McCartney performed in the East Room of the White House for current US President Barack Obama and his family, who sat in the center of the front row.
