New Delhi, Feb 25 : Farmers of the country are hopeful of getting more funds and adequate insurance for their crops in the upcoming Budget to be presented to Parliament.

The farmers in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir said that the successive governments have taken some policy decisions to improve the farm output but the benefits have failed to trickle down at the lower level.

"I want to appeal to the federal government that this time they should focus on farmers while preparing the budget. It should cover the insurance of the farmers and their families. It should also include risk coverage for the farmers because farmers suffer badly due to weather," said Sidhu Lal, a farmer.

New Delhi: Samsung is still the leader in Indian tablet market with 19.2 per cent share in 2014, but the Korean electronics giant's grip on the segment is slipping, CyberMedia Research (CMR) said on Wednesday.

Overall, the tablet market in India fell by 9.2 per cent to 3.89 million units shipped in 2014 as compared to 2013, it said in a statement.

Of this, 1.93 million were 3G tablets, representing 49.7 per cent of the total shipments and the segment grew at 43.5 per cent as compared to 2013, it added.

"Samsung maintains lead with 19.2 per cent of the total shipments, but shows a decline in market share. Datawind and Micromax emerge at second and third spots, respectively," CMR said.

Besides, mainstream IT vendors like Lenovo, HP and Dell made significant inroads, it added.

All the three men, who received a new technique called "bionic reconstruction," suffered for many years with brachial plexus injuries and poor hand function as a result of motor vehicle and climbing accidents.

It combines selective nerve and muscle transfers, elective amputation, and replacement with an advanced robotic prosthesis, using sensors that respond to electrical impulses in the muscles.

Following comprehensive rehabilitation, the technique restored a high level of function, in all three recipients, aiding in activities of daily living.
