London, Sept 20 : It seems that Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams are in talks for performing at the next year’s Brit awards scheduled for February.

Apparently, Minogue has already agreed for the event and Williams in talks for the show.

London, Sept 20 : TV weather forecaster Sian Lloyd has been named ‘Rear of the Year’, making her the oldest woman to receive the title.

The 49-year-old, who beat the likes of younger contestants in the online poll, said that she is ‘honoured’ to bag the title.

Lloyd joins a big list of Britain’s posteriors like Charlotte Church, Denise van Outen and Javine Hylton.

London, Sept.20 : Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly quit the football club, citing excessive pressure from the club's Russian billionaire owner Roman Abramovich.

According to The Daily Mail, Mourinho sent text messages to five senior players informing them about his decision to quit after three years on the job. He is probably the first coach of an English football club to use SMS to quit.

Washington, Sept 20 : A team of researchers at Wake Forest University of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina have developed a new method in which immune cells from “cancer-resistant” people are to be injected into those with cancer to help fight the disease.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted the researchers permission to screen people for the immune cells’ ability to ward off the disease.

Washington, September 20 : A new study suggests that long-term use of a cell phone may damage a person’s inner ear and high frequency hearing ability.

Presenting the study at the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation’s Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO in Washington, DC, the researchers said that 100 people who had used cellular phones for over a year suffered increases in the degree of hearing loss over the span of 12 months.
