New York, May 3 : With new protests planned in the coming days, the Bangladesh government should ensure that security forces stop using excessive force against protesters, Human Rights Watch said Friday.

The government should appoint an independent commission to investigate the deaths of dozens of protesters, including children, since large-scale street protests began in February, and prosecute anyone responsible for unlawful killings and use of force.

New Delhi, May 3 : India's largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel Friday said it will sell five percent stake to Doha-based Qatar Foundation Endowment for $1.26 billion.

As per the agreement, Qatar Foundation Endowment (QFE) will subscribe to 199,870,006 new shares of Bharti at a price of Rs. 340 per share amounting to a total consideration of $1.26 billion (Rs. 6,796 crores).

“The investment will further strengthen the capital structure and provide further flexibility for the company to deliver on its growth strategy,” Bharti Airtel said.

Mumbai, May 3 : Anupam Kher will soon start shooting for Satish Kaushik's directorial venture "Gang of Ghosts" and says after a long time he has come across an interesting and different script.

"It is based on a Bengali film. Satishji's adaptation had been such that after a long time I felt a uniqueness in a script, and the characters. It's a story of ghosts, they look normal and also live a normal life," the 58-year-old said here Thursday at the muhurat of the film.
