Chinese news agency Xinhua has reveled in a recent report, citing the findings of a research by Hong Kong-based security firm Kingsoft Duba, that a vast mobile botnet has hit up to 1 million Android users in China.

Revealing that the large Android botnet had spread across the handsets running Google's Android mobile operating system through `Android. Troj. mdk' malware strain, the Kingsoft Duba researchers said that the Trojan exists in more than 7,000 Google Play apps, including popular titles like Temple Run and Fishing Joy.

In an innovation which marks a notable advance in the direction of flexible smartphones, researchers in South Korea have revealed that they have discovered the secret to flexible, shape-conforming lithium ion (Li-ion) batteries.

According to a Tuesday report by Yonhap News Agency, researchers from the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology - in collaboration with nine other scientists from foreign institutes - have been successful in developing a new rechargeable battery technology which uses nanomaterials.

London, Jan 16 : Katie Holmes has been named as "one of the sexiest women of the millennium" by a men's magazine.

Her 2000 movie `The Gift,' where the now 34-year-old actress is seen shedding her clothes for a revealing sex scene, is so popular that it has been cited by GQ as its reason for naming her as "one of the sexiest women of the millennium," the Daily Mail reported.

Holmes is ranked amongst the magazine's top 60 women of the last 13 years, alongside stars like Beyonce, Mila Kunis, Marisa Tomei and Megan Fox.

The magazine called Holmes' role as "the hottest scene in a movie."

New Delhi, Jan 16 : Bollywood actors Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh were spotted promoting their upcoming film `Inkaar'- based on the issue of sexual harassment at workplace- in Mumbai.

The 40-year-old model turned actor- talking about the issue that the film explores- asserted that that both men and women must observe certain boundaries in workplaces that do not end up in a situation of sexual harassment.

New Delhi, Jan 16 : Asha Bhosle, who was recently spotted promoting her debut movie `Mai' along with the film's cast and crew in Mumbai, has devoted her debut movie to her mother.

The legendary playback singer, who is set to make her debut in acting, asserted that people start working at the age of 17 but she has started it at the age of 70, and it's her first movie.

The 79-year-old singer also said that now everybody should see and tell her that how they found her work.

Bhosle also asserted that she hopes that everybody will like her work, in the same way they have loved her singing.

New Delhi, Jan 16 : Ranbir Kapoor, who recently visited Anupam Kher's acting school named `Actor Prepares' in order to give guest lectures to it's acting students, was complimented by the legendary actor for creating his own niche in the film industry.

The 57-year-old actor, who runs his own acting school in Mumbai, praised the 30-year-old actor, by saying that he is one of the most versatile actors in the industry.
