Los Angeles, Jan 16 - American film director Zack Snyder is not involved with the new "Star Wars" films.

The "Man of Steel" filmmaker was previously rumoured to be directing "Star Wars Episode 7" after Walt Disney bought the franchise from George Lucas last year.

It was thought he was also working on a spin-off movie alongside the sci-fi production.

However, Zack's representative has confirmed he will not be taking part in anything to do with the popular project, reports femalefirst. co. uk.

India's leading automaker, Maruti-Suzuki Private Limited (MSIL) has launched a refreshed version of its WagonR for 2013.

The new model comes with several updates to both its exteriors and interiors. On the exterior, the grille is narrower than the current version and the new version will have one horizontal strip instead of three earlier. The version also has a new bumper with a larger air dam and redesigned fog lamp housings. The external upgrades have changed the cars appeal and it appears to be more of an elegant car.

South Korean electronics giant, Samsung Electronics has achieved a new milestone by crossing the 100 million mark for its Galaxy S series smartphones.

The company wrote on its Tomorrow Flickr page that the Galaxy S series crossed the 100 million threshold in 2 years and 7 months mark since the launch of Galaxy smartphone in May 2010.

Leading handset maker, Nokia has said in an unscheduled update that it has sold more than 86.3 million devices in October to December 2012 period, indicating that the company's partnership with Microsoft is bearing fruits.

Out of the total 86.3 million devices sold in the three month period, about 15.9 million were smartphone devices. The company had sold 6.3 million smartphones during the previous quarter. The growth comes as the company benefited from the Christmas and general holiday shopping season.
