Pawan Kalyan Ties The Knot With Live-In Companion

Pawan Kalyan Ties The Knot With Live-In CompanionAfter facing a rigorous condemnation from the opponents, particularly
women leaders, well-known Telugu actor and the youngest brother of
actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday tied the
nuptial knot with his live-in companion of eight years, Renu Desai.

Pavan and Renu have a 5 year old son Akira Nandan.

The marriage was performed at a simple ceremony attended by close
relatives and friends of Pawan and Renu. The marriage took place at the
actor’s house in the upmarket Jubilee Hills neighbourhood here. After
the marriage, both the bride and the groom were officially introduced
to the media. Veteran actor Chiranjeevi attended the reception and
blessed the couples. Allu Aravind, brother-in-law of Chiranjeevi also
attended the wedding ceremony.

It may be here recalled that only last year Pawan had got a divorce
from his first wife Nandini. In a one time settlement, Pawan agreed to
pay an alimony of Rs 5 crore to Nandini. Pawan had married Nandini in
May 1997. It is believed that Pawan could not marry Renu till now due
to legal hassles involved as he was already married to Nandini.

Speaking on this, a close friend of Pawan said, “The marriage with Renu
Desai was on cards for sometime now after the legal hurdles were
cleared. But they waited this long only for the completion of his
father's first death anniversary.”

Recently, some leaders of the political parties had attacked Pawan for living with a woman without marrying her.
