PCB Facing Dilemma Over Sponsors For The Next Month ODI Series In DubaiIt seems that Pakistan cricket problems after the 3/3 Lahore attacks on Sri Lankan cricketers are not going to be ease in the coming days as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is battling hard to find any sponsors for the up-coming ODI series against Australia scheduled in Abu Dhabi and Dubai from April 22.

Speaking on the security concerns for the ODI series against Australia, Saleem Altaf (COO, PCB) said, “There is no issue with the security arrangements nor with the grounds. After the attack on the Sri Lankan team in Lahore we ourselves want security arrangements to be of top priority for the series.”

He also pointed out that the board would finalize the security plan after having consultations with Emirates cricket board and UAE authorities.

Commenting over the sponsorship issue, Altaf said, “The board was negotiating with some parties for title and co-sponsorship of the series''

He is highly optimistic that there would be enough interest in the ODO series.

Meanwhile, Pakistan newly-appointed skipper Younis Khan has said the growing security fears, including the indefinite delay of the tour to Bangladesh, will damage his squad’s growth and harm preparations for the ODI series against Australia next month.

“The decision has deprived us of some valuable cricket once again,” Younis said.
