London, November 16 : English soccer star Ashley Cole chose to watch football instead of reality show ‘The X-Factor,’ in which his wife Cheryl appears as a judge, it has emerged.

The Chelsea defender seemed more interested in England’s loss to Brazil than listening to the Girls Aloud member’s comments on the contestants.

He also watched Ireland''''s World Cup qualifier against France.

“We thought he might have given Cheryl some support by watching her, but he stayed in her dressing room,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

London, Nov 3 : Brit footballer Ashley Cole is said to have settled a 200,000 pounds privacy case over his alleged affairs out of court.

Cole, 28, had filed a lawsuit against The Sun and Mirror Group Newspapers in April 2008 for invasion of privacy, reports the Daily Star.

And he was seeking a reported 200,000 pounds in damages over the kiss-and-tell stories.
