Sir Ben Kingsley rules out stage returnLondon, Jan 23 : Veteran actor Sir Ben Kingsley has said he has no plans of returning to stage, and insisted that he feels more creatively fulfilled by acting in films.

The Gandhi star is trained in classical theatre and has even performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company before taking up movie roles.

Although he acknowledges his theatrical roots, but has ruled out returning to plays.

Aish, Ben To Act Together For New ‘Taj Mahal’

KingsleyMumbai: Sir Ben Kingsley, British actor will act as Mughal ruler Shah Jahan who built up the Taj Mahal in memory of his loving wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Bollywood splendor Aishwarya Rai will play the emperor’s wife Mumtaz Mahal, upon whose death the distressed king made the Taj in 1648.

“The movie is on the building of the Taj Mahal,” Kingsley said, adding up the romance will also take in Shah Jahan’s abject loneliness for years in a jail house.
