London, Feb 13 : Queen of Pop Madonna has been named the highest-earning musician of 2008.

The `Material Girl' hitmaker released her latest album `Hard Candy' last year (08) and launched her Sticky & Sweet world tour, reports the Daily Express.

And it looks like all the hard work has paid off, for the singer has topped Billboard''s Moneymakers list of 2008, raking in 167 million pounds.

Rockers Bon Jovi came second in the poll with 108 million pounds while Bruce Springsteen landed the third spot with 107 million pounds.

New York, Feb 12 : Queen of pop Madonna is reportedly not happy that baseball player Alex Rodriguez has gone crawling back to his ex-wife Cynthia.

Madge is said to be furious that A-Rod headed home to Coral Gables, Fla., in the wake of his steroid-use scandal.

"Madge is pissed!" the New York Daily News quoted an insider as saying.

"Alex ran right home to Cynthia, and to Madonna, this is the ultimate dis," the insider said.

According to the source, Madge is mostly livid because A-Rod didn''t come to her for solace.

London, February 12 : Courtney Love has put out a word of caution for her rival Madonna, asking her to maintain her distance from London, once she moves there permanently.

The rocker, who hurled a compact mirror at the Queen of Pop at the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards, revealed she wanted to ditch Los Angeles for the English countryside.

And she warned her bitter foe Madonna, who recently relocated to New York, not to come near the capital.

London, Feb 11: Queen of pop Madonna has appeared in a steamy magazine shoot with new `pal' Jesus Luz.

The 50-year-old has been pictured in a series of steamy shots in the new issue of W magazine.

The 45-page spread in the magazine, shot by top fashion photographer Steven Klein, shows Jesus naked with modesty protected with a white towel while the Material Girl is seen in a series of black dresses with a crucifix necklace, reports the Telegraph.

New York, February 9 : Madonna had reportedly returned to raunchiness after posing for "simulating" shots with four Brazilian hunks.

The Queen of Pop was said to have posed for W magazine's layout, titled "Blame it On Rio", which depicts her with the quartet, including her rumoured toy-boy, model Jesus Luz.

London, Feb 7: Both UK dates on Madonna's forthcoming Sticky & Sweet tour sold out within minutes after going on sale.

The shows at London's O2 Arena on July 4th and the MEN Arena in Manchester on July 7th are part of an additional European leg to the tour, reports the BBC.

Despite prices starting at 110pounds, tickets for the shows were still in high demand.

The 16-date jaunt will see the singer perform in cities left off the first leg of the tour.
