London, March 14 : Pete Doherty was left in tears and had almost decided to abandon his band after a fan's underwear prank during a gig.
The Babyshambles frontman revealed several years ago he had thrown himself at the Dundee crowd in Scotland when a fan got hold of his pants and fiercely pulled them upwards.
"The gig was going great, so I thought, ''I''ll dive in,'' and this big Scotsman just grabbed hold of my pants and said, ''Cop a load of this, Doherty''. Those were his exact words," the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
London, Mar 12 : Pete Doherty has said that he is happy being single and has vowed to stay away from women.
"I just don't want to inflict myself on any girl," the Sun quoted him, as saying.
He added: "I wouldn't want her to have anything to do with me or the people I know or my life as it is at the moment. They just don't need it, you know?"

Washington, February 6 : `Babyshambles' frontman Pete Doherty says that his country mansion is haunted by a noisy group of hellraising ghosts, due to which he struggles to sleep at night.
The rocker, who recently denied reports his landlord wants to evict him, said that the spirits throw a wild bash in his nine-bedroom home in Wiltshire, England, at night.
"My house is definitely haunted. All of a sudden you hear a mad party going on in the west wing. It used to be the servants'' quarters, which is creepy. When I hear it I just hide," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
