Washington, April 10 : ‘Babyshambles’ frontman Pete Doherty nearly lost his arm after contracting an infection in the limb last year.

He has revealed that he had to cancel a number of concerts last December, after being hospitalised with an arm injury.

While not much was divulged about his condition at the time, Doherty has now spoken out about the drastic surgery he had to undergo.

Washington, Mar 27 : Troubled rocker Pete Doherty is reportedly in talks to write a TV drama.

According to reports, producers at the BBC are certain that Babyshambles hitmaker would be able to use his experience with substance abuse, and battle with addictions to heroin and cocaine, in writing the drama.

"They want a pilot episode written in the next six weeks which will become a series, if he can come up with the goods," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling British tabloid The Sun.

Doherty revealed that he still misses Kate and feels jealous whenever he sees her with Hince.

London, Mar 23 : Brit singer Pete Doherty has revealed that he would not mind head-butting Kate Moss' man Jamie Hince and running off with her.

Doherty, 30, who is still madly in love with Moss, even reckons he would come to blows with Hince if they ever crossed paths, and being asked to stay away from a Lily Allen gig because of Moss, did not help matters much.

"I wanted to see Lily Allen play the other week," the Sun quoted him as telling Q magazine.

London, Mar 18 : Brit musician Pete Doherty recently showed his stubborn streak by refusing to end a gig even after bosses at the venue turned the lights off.

Doherty, 30, who had been drinking Guinness throughout the show, ignored pleas to get off the stage, and continued to play for 25 minutes beyond the 11pm curfew on March 15.

The ex-Libertines singer even lit up in defiance of the smoking ban, and told his fans that he'd forfeit his fee for the fag.
