Washington, Sept 10 : Cops have ordered an elderly woman who allegedly struck Reese Witherspoon with her car while the actress was jogging in California to retake her driving test.

According to TMZ. com, The Legally Blonde star sustained minor injuries when the car driven by an 84-year-old woman reportedly hit her while running in Santa Monica.

"After a holiday or a birthday, I have tons and tons of garbage and it always overflows and I always sort of peek out late at night and look at the neighbours' garbage can.

"So, if I have a particularly bad day, where I have a lot of extra garbage, I go and take my garbage and put it in theirs," she added.

London, Oct 30 - Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon is set to star in the movie "Rule 1" after Terrel Seltzer sold her screenplay to Fox Searchlight.

Hollywoodreporter. com reports that Brad Epstein will produce the film, which is about a woman who becomes a friend of a Puerto Rican girl with an attention deficit disorder. Seltzer had previously worked on the comedy "How I Got Into College" and "One Fine Day".
