Washington, April 7: Zac Efron has decided to keep his distance from the party scene because he does not want to “fall victim” to alcohol and jeopardize his career.

The High School Musical star confessed having learnt lessons from other young actors who had killed their chances after giving in to their wild lifestyles.

"There''s a time for celebration and I partake, sure,” Contactmusic quoted the 21-year-old as saying.

Washington, Apr 7 : High School Musical star Zac Efron has revealed that he has not signed up for Twitter, MySpace or Facebook.

Efron, 21, says that he values his privacy and does not like to have his personal life open to all.

"I don''t have a Twitter, a MySpace or a Facebook or anything like that," People magazine quoted him as saying.

"I kind of value in people not knowing where I am or what I''m doing," he added.

London, April 5 : Zac Efron made his name with kid-friendly movies, but now the Disney prince has dumped his squeaky-clean image to move on to more adult projects.

The High School Musical heartthrob has signed on to star in `17 Again' and has been working out for his topless scenes.

In this film, he tries to bed an older woman and gets propositioned by a string of admirers.

Zac, now 21, said that when he was a teenager he wasn''t good at attracting girls.

Washington, Apr 3 : Hollywood actor Zac Efron and his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens are gearing up to feature in a comedy skit to be aired on comedian Will Ferrell's website FunnyOrDie. com.

The rib-tickling comedy will feature Zac and Vanessa alongside Nicole Richie and Thomas Lennon, who plays Efron''s Uncle Hank.

It has been directed by Adam Shankman, reports OK! magazine.

Its been reported that the cast had a blast shooting for the comedy skit.
