Abu Dhabi --The Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA), a publicly listed company on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, TAQA Bratani Limited (TAQA Bratani), has completed its $631 million acquisition of seven oil fields from Shell U. K. Limited and Esso Exploration and Production (UK) Limited.
Abu Dhabi, Dec. 03rd, 2008 --Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander of the UAE Armed Forces HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, attended the play 'Zayed and the Dream' at the Abu Dhabi National Theatre. It was presented to mark the 37th National Day anniversary.
A musical play by Maestro Abdul Halim Caracalla was held to celebrate the UAE's 37th National Day in the capital. "The work, titled Zayed and the Dream, is the first of its kind artistic venture", said Mohammad Khalaf Al Mazroui, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, in a statement.

UAE Interior Minister HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, said that the Ministry of Interior punishes corrupts and keep public opinion posted about charges taken in this respect. The ramrks follow disclosure that the anti corruption squad arrested some personnel at the ministry yesterday over abuse of power.

Applying this in line with the directives of H. E. Yousef Omair bin Yousef, Secretary General of the Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC) and CEO of ADNOC, the company will be cooperating with the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (MASDAR) and Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD).
