Women better then men when it comes to DIY!

London, December 9 (ANI): Men might like to brag about their `construction skills', but it is women who are better when it comes do-it-yourself tasks, according to a furniture store boss.

Petra Hesser, boss at the furniture store `Ikea', whose 70 percent of the clientele was formed by women, revealed that the fairer sex was undisputed winner when it came to putting together flatly packed furniture.

"Men never look at the directions and have the most problems with construction because they always think they can do that," the Telegraph quoted the head of the Swedish giant''s German operation saying.

Companies in emerging economies most likely to bribe: report

UK FlagLondon - Companies based in emerging markets are more likely to pay bribes in order to win contracts abroad, anti-corruption watchdog Transparency International said Tuesday.

It published a survey of senior executives which rated companies in Russia, China and India as the most likely to engage in bribery when conducting business overseas.

Belgium and Canadian firms were considered the least likely to pay bribes, according to the study.

Transparency International canvassed 2,742 senior business executives from 26 industrialized and developing companies about the tendency to pay bribes abroad.

London, Dec 9 : Despite having escaped being jailed, Brit man Vince Acors, involved in the Dubai beach-sex scandal, was seen drunk and romping about with two girls at the same bar where the whole scandal had started.

The Romeo IT boss, who had been charged with indecent behaviour along with publishing executive Michelle Palmer, 36, was seen kissing a busty brunette and lifting a scantily clad blonde in his arms just five months after the incident.

An onlooker, who witnessed the latest antics by Acors, 34, of Bromley, South East London, said the Brit was showing that he did not care.

“It was like sticking two fingers up at the people of Dubai,” the Sun quoted the onlooker as saying.

The unprecedented security for England includes a total lockdown at the team hotel, the clearance of roads to and from the stadium and the use of armed guards from Rapid Action Force -- a specialist team of riot police.

“We are deploying over 5,000 people at the hotel and stadium,” said P Balasubramaniam, Joint Commissioner of Tamil Nadu Police.
