London, Sept 14 : Amid growing dissatisfaction among Labour rebels against Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Business secretary John Hutton has reportedly refused to condemn the rebels, saying that his colleagues were “right to say that the government needed to do better”.

The business secretary made his comments after Labour rebels warned that dozens more were expected to join a campaign to destabilise Gordon Brown ahead of next week''s Labour conference.

London, Sept 14 : A new set of six stamps is being issued by the Royal Mail to mark the 90th anniversary of the RAF.

The three first-class stamps and three 81p stamps are to be released on Thursday, and will celebrate the history of RAF uniforms since 1918.

Starting in 2007 with the famous RAF blue uniform of a drum major from the RAF''s Central Band on a first-class stamp, and ending with a leather-clad pilot from 1918 on an

81p stamp, the stamps appear in reverse chronological order.

London, Sept 14 : A ‘tasteful’ range of new generation sex toys is being designed for middle-aged couples.

And the brain behind ‘Relationship Care’ is Dutch multinational Koninklijke Philips Electronics (Royal Philips Electronics).

The company said it would launch the range in Selfridges and Boots stores.

Jayson Otke, a Philips spokesman, said the products are designed to enhance couples'' sexual well-being, and are specifically target the hitherto "neglected" group of sex toy users aged between 35 and 55.

Otke said the three new products will be called collectively the Intimate Massage Range, consisting of the Warm Intimate Massage, the Warm Massage and the Intimate Dual Massage.

London, Sept 14 : One of the world''s most expensive tartans is about to roll off the production line at a Scottish mill.

Woven from 100 percent pure Mongolian cashmere, the fabric will be used to produce a number of items including a kilt costing about 5,000 pounds.

The tartan has been designed by Peebles company Holland and Sherry to celebrate 172 years of operation in the town, reports the Scotsman.

Sales and marketing director Malcolm Campbell described it as a "champagne fabric rather than a bottle of beer".

It will be unveiled at November''s Dressed to Kilt fashion show in New York, modelled by Sir Sean Connery and Ewan McGregor.

London, September 14 : HMS Victory, Lord Nelson’s celebrated flagship, is poised to be offloaded by UK’s Royal Navy, and plans are to handle its upkeep to private players.

It is a first rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, built between 1759 and 1765, most famously known as Lord Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar.

It currently sits in dry dock in Portsmouth, as a museum ship.

According to Pride of Nation, it was revealed that the Ministry of Defence (MoD) want the Navy to end centuries of tradition by abandoning running the celebrated vessel, which lures 500,000 visitors a year to its dry dock in Portsmouth.
