SA Batsman Justin Kemp Parts Ways With Rebel ICL

JustinHard-hitting South African batsman, Justin Kemp has resigned from the unauthorized Indian cricket League (ICL).

Confirming the development, Cricket South Africa CEO Gerald Majola said that Kemp played his last ICL match in December and would be ready for a return to the CSA fold after a six-month cooling off period.

"He played his last ICL cricket in December, so his six-month cooling off period will be completed by the time we start the new season," said Majola.

Kemp played for Hyderabad Heroes in the ICL last December.

“We are very happy to welcome Justin back into the fold, and wish him all the best for the future,” added Majola.

Other than Kemp, other South Africans players who played for ICL include middle order batsman Dale Benkenstein, fast bowler Nantie Hayward and all-rounders Andrew Hall, Nickey Boje and Johan van der Wath.

It is also believed that Andrew Hall has also resigned from the ICL.
