Sallu’s ‘Veer’ To Resume Shooting At Amber Fort!

Sallu’s ‘Veer’ To Resume Shooting At Amber FortAfter being charged for damaging the Historic fort of Amber, Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Veer’ has got permission from the Rajasthan High court to resume its shooting again at the fort.

The court, during the last week, issued a stay order on the filming of ‘Veer’ in the fort after an accident happened on the film sets, when a 20 foot long wall collapsed injuring around 15 people.

While lifting the week-long ban on the film, a division bench of Rajasthan High Court including Acting Chief Justice R C Gandhi and Justice M N Bhandari asked Vijay Galani, producer of the film, to pay Rupees 20 lakh as compensation to the government.

The compensation amount will be utilized to repair the fort, and to give to those hurt in the wall collapse.

The court has given a time of only 4 days to complete the entire shooting.

Moreover, the court also lifted its ban on media reporting the case proceedings that it had slapped on Wednesday. The judges adjourned the court order after advocate Abhinav Sharma, the amicus curae in the Amber fort case, argued that the court did not have the power to prevent the common man from knowing what was happening in the courtroom.

Abhinav Sharma, Amicus Curae in the case, said, “The producers will have to pay and they’ve been given four days, two to shoot and two to wind up.”

On all this, Vijay Galani said, “I’m happy that the court has made this order.”

The film makers are happy with court’s verdict as of now. Let’s hope that the movie doesn’t draw any more contestations and concludes successfully.

The film Veer, directed by Anil Sharma has been penned by Salman Khan. The film is about the love story of a Rajput warrior played by Salman Khan and a Princess, played by Zarine Khan.
