Samsung might launch Galaxy Note III with 5.9-inch screenSouth Korean electronics giant, Samsung might be planning to launch its new Galaxy Note III with a 5.9-inch screen to compete with in the new segment between smartphones and tablet computers.

According to media reports in Korean media that cited Samsung suppliers, the company might be planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note III in the US market on AT&T soon. Some poeple suggest that the device is most likely to be launched at IFA 2013, which is scheduled to be organised form 6 to 11 September in Berlin in Germany.

Samsung is also likely to use LCD screens made by Sharp for its Galaxy Note III and the Exynos 5 Octa processor is likely to power the new phablet. Galaxy Note II was announced at the same event in the previous year. The Galaxy Note 2 features a 5.5-inch screen and it is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The model is lighter and thinner than the original version, which looked at filling the gap between smartphones and tablets.

The company also reveal its new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 at IFA this year in Germany.
