Sitaron.. Winner Yashraj Kapil To Try His Luck On Indian Idol-5!

Sitaron.. Winner Yashraj Kapil To Try His Luck On Indian Idol-5!The media has criticized the presence of reality shows discards in the fifth season of Sony TV's music reality show 'Indian Idol'. To be fair to these participants, they are worthy of a second opportunity. More than another chance, one needs to take a look at the truth that these five singers are still searchng their basic dreams, i. e to feed their families.

Yashraj Kapil, Manisha Karmakar, Vishwas Rai, Arvind Gujral and Sashi Suman each have their own set of requirements, which sees them trying their fate at Indian Idol 5.

Yashraj Kapil is one who is arousing everyone's attention. After all, he's bagged a cash prize of Rs 10 million after winning Real TV's 'Sitaron ko Chhoona Hai'. Not to forget a deal with Times Music.

After accomplishing such goodies, what's the need for Kapil to join Indian Idol 5? He's earned his pound of flesh from 'Sitaron Ko Chhoona Hai'. Or has he?

Real TV had a terrible run and close up its active programming in just a period of 12 months. The channel hardly gained any GRPs, thereby suffering big financial losses. The ones who hurt were obviously the celebs and reality show partakers, some of whom allegedly never got their dues.

Hearsays said that Yashraj, who is not only a good singer but is also a great performer, was not given his prize money. He was only paid a few lakh Rupees as his prize. Yashraj supposedly revealed this reality to a close adviser.

The source stated, "When we last had a word, Yashraj told me that he didn't get the prize money nor the contract that was due to him on account of winning 'Sitaron Ko Chhoona Hai'. When he asked for his due, he was told to go the production. The producer in turn told him that when the channel didn't exist, they didn't have funds to reward him. Apparently, he was told to take a few lakhs rupees and seal his lips. I don't know whether he got all his dues but the fact that's he's on Indian Idol leads to speculation all the more that he didn't get it."

The media tries to catch up with the boy at the press meet on Thursday, but he denied to talk claiming that he isn't suppose to speak to the media without official warning. (With Inputs from Agencies)
