Suspects in Travolta extortion trial plead not guiltyWashington, April 29: The two suspects accused of trying to extort millions of dollars from John Travolta have pleaded not guilty in court.

Ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne and ex Bahamas senator Pleasant Bridgewater were alleged to have teamed up in a
25-million-dollar plot to extort money from Travolta and his wife over information related to their 16-year-old son Jett''s death.

While Lightbourne was charged with attempted extortion, Bridgewater was left facing abatement to extort charges, reports Contactmusic.

The duo, released on 50,000-dollar bail, has pleaded not guilty to the charges in a Bahamian court on April 28.

They are slated to next appear in court on September 21. (ANI)
