Swine Flu tightening its grip across India

Swine Flu IndiaSwine flu, which has shaken the nation previously, continues to stir news as the Influenza A doesn’t seem to stop. Six more people have died of influenza A (H1N1) in India, taking the death toll to 1302.

The evident increase in the rise in number of cases of swine flu is primarily due to ill-health conditions, filthy environment and lack of proper hygiene. It is advised that the person who has been declared with the disease should be kept aloof from others.

Any contact with the person showing symptoms of influenza and of influenza-like illness in general should be avoided. The matter should be reported to medical experts. The symptoms include chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness and general discomfort.

In Indian sub-continent, the number of laboratory confirmed cases of swine flu is estimated to be 29,303. With a constant rise in number of cases the list seems never-ending. A recent update confirmed that 35 new cases were confirmed in states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi and Kerala. Maharashtra already tops the list with a huge number of death cases raising the figure to a steep height of 340, followed by Gujarat, Rajasthan and Karnataka.

The matter of concern is that no signs of halt can be seen, even though the rumors suggest there will be plenty of vaccine available very soon. Till then we would have jeopardized many peoples’ lives.
