Surat (Gujarat), Apr 23: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Rajnath Singh on Thursday accused the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh of making personal attacks on BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani.
“The main thing that our leaders have said that the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government was weak. Manmohan Singh should not take the comments on weakness of the UPA Government as a personal attack on him,” he told reporters here.

Sardhana (Uttar Pradesh)/Nagpur, Apr 9: Bharatiya Janata Party chief Rajnath Singh expressed confidence that the alliance between his party and the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) would emerge victorious in the upcoming polls.
Campaigning in Sardhana town of Uttar Pradesh, Rajnath said: "I want to say that this alliance will emerge victorious in these parliamentary elections, and in the assembly elections. The BJP and the RLD will form the government in the state. People will realise this after these polls."
Gorakhpur, Apr 7 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said that Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) had no right to be in power, as it could not provide security to the citizens.
"Shame on a government which cannot provide security to its people. Such government has no right to remain in power," Rajnath Singh said while addressing a election rally here.
Singh assured farmers that if voted to power, the BJP would waive off the farmers' loans.
