Nokia Oyj has made announcement about the launching of seven new phones in addition to Internet services for rising markets.

The new phones include the Nokia 1202, a follow-up to Nokia’s hot model 1200, which will sell for around 25 euros and two models with e-mail support priced at 40 euros.

Growing market areas are a stronghold for the world’s major cellphone manufacturer, but it has lately seen increasing rivalry from vendors including China ZTE and Samsung Electronics.

World’s largest mobile handset maker Nokia has come up with its latest ‘N’ series model, N79 in the Indian market.

Touted to be a multimedia phone, the Nokia N79 comes with a 5MP camera with dual-LED based flash. It has swappable back-covers that change the look to match the clothes or other fashion of the owner. It has 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS features and 24-hour music playback battery life.

Indian mobile users will now have a chance to own Nokia's N85 multimedia phone from the premium N series of Nokia. 

Recently, Nokia revealed its plans to release a novel and extraordinary handset titled Nokia 2228. This handset is equipped with some unique features, is a perfect combo of slim 12 mm compact design and ultra light weight, and is meant for those, who want style as well as functionality.

It has been learnt that Nokia 2228 would be launched in selected CDMA market in the Q4 of 2008.
