On the Monday morning, the parents of Abhay Pratap Singh got the worst shock of their life, when they came to know that their son has hanged himself to death by the ceiling fan. Abhay, a 25 year old young man had just a month ago joined Satyam Computers in Bangalore. 

He used to live with his three room-mates at Parappana Agrahara, who also happened to be his colleagues. Abahay's brother also works in Bangalore with an MNC and stays in a house at HSR Layout. Abhay's father, P N Singh, is a police officer at Jharkhand.  

On Sunday, Abhay seemed quite happy spending his time with his parents and brother, who had come to Bangalore last week to meet their two sons. On the very evening of the day, his parents went along with his brother, while Abhay returned back to his apartment. 

However, on following day's morning, he told his roommates to head towards the office, while he wanted to stay back to spend some time alone. But when the three roommates returned back in the evening, they couldn't believe their eyes when they found Abhay hanging dead from the ceiling fan. 

Surprisingly, neither Abhay's family nor his roommates know what made Abhay take such a disastrous step. "The family members are decent and there are no signs of any differences of opinion. Even his room-mates are clueless as to why Abhay took the extreme step, as he never showed signs of depression or problems," reported Parappana Agrahara police inspector P Dhananjay, who also told that no suicide note was discovered from the place. After a post-mortem, Abhay's body was handed over to his parents.
