The SRK-Aditya Chopra reunion film, 'Rab ne Bana di Jodi' is being considered a huge release, and the expectations from the music of the film are sky high.

With Jatin-Lalit having composed the music for 'DDLJ' and 'Mohabbatein' - Aditya Chopra's hit films with hit music - composer duo Salim-Sulaiman and lyricist Jaideep Sahni already had a lot to match up to.

In the opening track, 'Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai', a melodious santoor is attention-grabbing. 'Haule Haule' by Sukhwinder Singh plays next, the clips of the song already been shown in the promos on TV.

The song 'Dance Pe Chance', which has the powerhouse of Sunidhi Chauhan and Labh Janjua crooning over some Punjabi beats, is slightly underwhelming and the orchestration is a bit of a turnoff too.

'Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte', by Sonu Nigam, slices up old masala and turns it into a neo new age feel good song. Then there is 'Dancing Jodi', a four minute remix version of 'Dance pe chance', which turns out be a wee bit better than the original, thanks to the elevated beats and pep.

The album finishes off with the female version of 'Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai', with vocals by Shreya Ghoshal. The minute-and-a-half song is a moody piece, with slackened pace and murkier hue than the original.

To a great extent, the music of the film is 'situational' - the kind that can get enhanced by picturization and choreography!
