Delhi, Dec 16 (ANI): Anne Hathaway will walk down the red carpet for
the Golden Globe Awards next year with her mother – not new boyfriend
Adam Shulman.

The
26-year-old actress, who is dating Shulman, has received a Best Actress
nomination for her role in ‘Rachel Getting Married’, reports the China
Daily.

And
although the ceremony is still over a month away, Anne has decided that
she’ll take her mum as her date to the awards and not her new boyfriend.

"I already asked my mum if she can come with me. So mummy is going to be my date,” she said.

The
news of her nomination broke when she was sleeping and the actress was
disappointed to have missed her parents’ call telling her the great
news.

She
told People magazine: "I was asleep and my mother actually called at
the same moment as my publicist, so he told me. I got off the phone
with him and called my parents. They were hopping around so happy, just
so effusive and lovely. And I felt so bad, they were giving such great
advice for how to handle it and I was half-asleep!

The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place on January 11 at Los Angeles'' Beverly Hilton hotel. (ANI)
