Australian stocks take flight

Sydney - Australian stocks took heart from signs the local economy might be bottoming out Thursday and a better performance on Wall Street.
The ASX 200 put on 100 points, or 2.7 per cent, to close at 3,680.
Resources stocks were the best performers. (dpa)
