B.A.G Films and Media Ltd has nominated Ashish Kaul as the group’s new chief operating officer (COO).

In his new role, Mr. Kaul will be working closely with the B.A.G chairman and managing director Anurradha Prasad and the core group of the company.

He will work on discovering business vision strategy, build organisation competence and plan to attain long term and short term aims of the company.

BAG Films & Media is a very prestigious young organisation with a 360-degree approach to their diversification plan, encompassing TV, radio, convergence, animation, education, and film and TV production. The company’s diversification plans hold enormous possibilities and I look forward to lead BAG Films & Media to a position of strength in their respective businesses.”

Before joining BAG films, Mr. Kaul worked with the Zee Network and various other Essel group companies as executive VP corporate brand development. In a career spanning about 14 years, Kaul has been exposed to corporate marketing/brand, business development, media, chemicals and petrochemicals, IT sectors and communications management specialist.

He has also received the MEDIAMeet Manager of the Year Award in the year 2001 and the ‘Chief Minister’s Commendation Award for Outstanding Contribution to Society’. Kaul has been a guest faculty at IIM, Ahmedabad and several other educational institutions across the country.

At 12:48 pm, the shares of B.A.G Films and Media Ltd gained 0.83% at Rs 42.65 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
