Boeing inks ‘MoU’ with BEML for the setup of centers in Bangalore and New DelhiUS-based aviation giant Boeing has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Public sector undertaking BEML, to develop analysis and experimentation centers in India.

Under the arrangement, both partners would set up analysis and experimentation centers in Bangalore and Delhi, to test military products.

According to official sources, the centers will use modeling and simulation tools to help customers assess defense technologies. It may be noted that Boeing has similar centers in Australia and the U.K.

In a separate release, Boeing Co. said that it expects India to buy military products worth $31 billion in the next 10 years. In addition, the U.S. company also expects sales in the South Asian country's civil aviation market to touch $105 billion in 20 years.

Boeing is the world's leading aerospace company and the largest manufacturer of commercial jetliners and military aircrafts, combined. Additionally, Boeing designs and manufactures rotorcraft, electronic and defense systems, missiles, satellites, launch vehicles and advanced information and communication systems. The company also provides numerous military and commercial airline support services.
