Check out Omegle, if you are sick of monotonous chats! You must visit Omegle, if you are chat buff grown tired of monotonous chats. Omegle allows completely anonymous chats with random strangers. Well, Omegle is the new website that has recently entered into the crowded world of web.

Omegle is a website (omegle.com) that helps to communicate with random people across the web through chatting. The sole aim of the website is to connect a user to a random stranger to communicate with him/her. Created by Leif K-Brooks – an 18-year-old amateur web programmer and high school student in Vermont, Omegle was launched on March 25th, 2009. Omegle gets its users connected with random, anonymous strangers for private, real-time chats.

In its welcome note, Omegle says, "When you use Omegle, we pick another user at random and let you have a one-on-one chat with each other. Chats are completely anonymous, although there is nothing to stop you from revealing personal details if you would like.”

The creator of Omegle, Leif K-Brooks says, "You can't learn anything from someone exactly like you. The goal was to create a new kind of association: anonymous interaction with a stranger that complements existing social sites and helps people broaden their horizons."

Just a month old, Omegle has been attracting about 150,000 page views per day. Omegle garnered around 100 users at launch. In April 2009, the total population online at any one time has reached approximately 2,500. The reasons for the growing popularity of Omegle are pipeline publicity and the fact that conversations on Omegle are not monitored and the site does not keep data on how visitors are using the site. Omegle’s revenue model is based on the advertisements featured on the home page. Analysts say that Omegle has made is new addition to social networking.
