Dannii Minogue says British media bullied her to be thin like sister

Melbourne, Mar 13 : Singer Dannii Minogue has revealed that she was actually bullied by the British press to be thin like her sister, Kylie.

"I was 19 when I moved to London and the British press put a huge amount of pressure on me - they said I was too fat because I wasn''t the same size as my sister," News. com. au quoted Dannii, as telling Who magazine.

Dannii revealed that she found it uncanny as to why people were bothered about her body, as she felt comfortable in her own skin.

"And you go, well, funny about that because we''re two different people. I definitely felt bullied, but that''s just the size I was," she said.

"What was weird was that I felt comfortable in myself, I just couldn''t understand why it was a problem for everyone else. It wasn''t their body, they weren''t walking around in it," she added.

Dannii, who was photographed for the magazine's Bodies at Every Age issue, said that she was much happier than ever with her foxy figure.

"From 28 on, I started to feel really excited about finding a different type of body confidence," she said.

"It just feels like you''re in your skin. I definitely feel like I''m getting better as I''m getting older," she added. (ANI)
