Australian singer Dannii Minogue, sister of Kylie Minogue, has given birth to her first baby boy on Monday with partner Kris Smith, who is a former rugby player and model. The couple announced Dannii's pregnancy together in January.

Dannii Minogue was planning a delivery at home but she had to be rushed to the hospital following some complications during the home birth of the baby. She was admitted to a public hospital with a fake name to avoid crowds.

London, Jan 9 : Popstar Dannii Minogue is pregnant with her first child with model beau Kris Smith.

According to Sydney Morning Herald, the 38-year-old star was spotted with a baby bump while she enjoyed her winter break in Melbourne with Smith.

Her baby''s due in the summer.

"Dannii knew she wasn''t getting any younger and thought the time was right to start trying for a baby," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

"Kris was desperate to have kids but Dannii wanted to hang on until a little later. The whole family are absolutely delighted for her – especially Kylie who is so excited about having a little niece or nephew running around.
