Kilburn Engineering wins orders worth Rs 21.9 crore; stock surges 6%Mumbai-headquartered Kilburn Engineering has received orders worth Rs 21.9 crore for supplying dryers from Tata Chemical, Tea Estates and Rice Mills.

The company has won an order worth Rs 11.10 crore for supply of calciner from Tata Chemical while secured an order worth Rs 10.80 cr from tea estates and rice mills for supply of tea and paddy dryers.

Kilburn Engineering Limited, which is a member of Williamson Magor & Co., Ltd., engages in the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, and installation of various types of drying systems in India and internationally.    

The scrip of the company settled the day at Rs 16 on BSE, up 6% compared to previous close of Rs 15. It may be noted that today Sensex falls over 3.5 per cent and in such tough conditions the company manages the end the day in green figures.
