Michelle Pfeiffer feels more ‘liberated’ at 50

Michelle PfeifferWashington, Feb 11 : American actress Michelle Pfeiffer has revealed that she finds reaching 50 to be a very liberating experience.

Pfeiffer had turned 50 in 2008 and she admits that she did not have any fear of getting older.

"If you think hitting 40 is liberating, wait till you hit 50 - and I was surprised at how liberating it was," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"The anticipation of something is always much worse than the reality," she stated.

The other thing she likes about growing old, are the roles she gets to play.

"The older you get, the roles actually become more interesting," she said.

"(And) it seems that my leading men just keep getting younger the older I get. It seems that people have an aversion to casting people of the same age - luckily for me," she added. (ANI)
