Midwives in Argentina protest against Government Plans to restrict Home Births

On Thursday, midwives in Argentina and a number of activists chose an unusual way to protest against the nation’s government to restrict home births. According to reports, the midwives bared their breast in front of the health ministry. The women were demanding their right to give birth to babies at home.

As per the reports, more than one dozen protestors bared their brightly painted breasts along a busy Buenos Aires street. In addition, they were holding signs where they were asking current minister of health of Argentina, Daniel Gollan, to allow them the right to choose where and how to give birth.

Northrop Grumman Corporation Plans to Build a Plane That Could Fly through Venus’s Atmosphere

It has been reported that a Virginia-based aerospace company is planning to build a plane that will be able to fly through Venus's atmosphere by 2021.

In the race to enter NASA’s New Frontiers planetary science competition, Northrop Grumman Corporation is developing the inflatable, propeller-powered aircraft for a years-long cruise in the skies of Venus, Space.com reported.

The plane will have almost twice the wingspan of a Boeing 737. It is a part of the Venus mission concept called Venus Atmospheric Manoeuvrable Platform (VAMP).

The plane will sample the acidic alien atmosphere on Venus. The firm is facing other companies in a competition to get $1 billion in funding from NASA in order to get off the ground.

Alaska’s Fish and Game Commissioner Closes wolf Hunting Season Early This Year

Fish and Game Commissioner of Alaska revealed on Thursday that the wolf hunting season close to Denali National Park and Preserve, which is a national park and preserve located in Interior Alaska, will end early this year. According to the commissioner, the decision has been taken after reviewing a report where a wolf was shot after scavenging from a bear baiting station.

Sam Cotton, Commissioner of the Fish and Game, said after the emergency order, the wolf hunting season will end in the area to the north and east of the Denali National Park. If Cotton hadn’t given order, the hunting season for this year could have been closed about two weeks earlier than the usual closing date.

Two Black Males shoot at Two Girls in Jacksonville School Bus

Police is searching for two suspects who opened fire into Jacksonville, Fla. school bus. Two students suffered injuries in the shooting incident. Authorities said two black males started shooting that caused non-life threatening injuries to two girls.

One of the victims has been identified as 15-year-old Shayayla Singleton. Her family said that she was shot in the face and doctors are currently providing her treatment at a local hospital.

The Jacksonville sheriff's department said the bus driver acted bravely and managed to drive the bus to quarter a mile from the scene to safety. He then pulled over and gave a call to 911.

Martin O’Malley steered clear all doubts, with the big announcement slated for May 30, as this former Governor of Maryland declared in a private conference call, his resort for the presidential run, against front-runner Hillary Clinton.

O’Malley stated, “We need people who know how to get things done and we need new leadership. That’s why I’m here”.

The call featured current and former governors and mayors and about 200 donors, including 100 from Maryland and 100 from other states. O’Malley also held other calls with staff, former staff and friends.
