Mumbai, July 11 : It's time to get funny for actor-producer John Abraham, who recently featured in action films "Race 2" and "Shootout at Wadala".

"Besides action, I am also doing comedy. Now I will be seen in 'Welcome Back' and 'Dostana 2' once Karan makes an announcement. I am doing all kinds of movies," John told reporters at the trailer launch of "Madras Cafe" here Thursday.

As a producer he is now looking forward to "Madras Cafe" and shows confidence in the product.

New Delhi, July 11 : Iraq has agreed to offer three discovered oil blocks to India in the Middle Furat oil fields, Petroleum Minister M. Veerappa Moily said Thursday.

Iraq is also willing to renegotiate with state-run explorer ONGC's foreign arm ONGC Videsh Ltd (OVL) the contract for oil block 8 in Iraq, which has been pending for almost a decade.

Addressing a press conference here after his return from Iraq, the petroleum minister said Iraq has also shown interest in Indian Oil's 15 million tonnes per annum refinery project in Paradip, Orissa.

Ranchi, July 11 : Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren will be sworn-in as Jharkhand's ninth chief minister state on Saturday, informed sources here said.

"Hemant Soren has desired to take oath around 10 a. m. Saturday. Governor (Syed Ahmad) has agreed to the request. It will be announced officially once the president approves lifting of the president's rule in the state," a source in the Raj Bhavan told IANS.

Hemant Soren Tuesday staked claim to forming the government, handing over to the governor letters of support of 43 legislators in the 82-member house.

New Delhi, July 11 : Former beauty queen Neha Dhupia, who tip-toed into Bollywood a decade ago with the film "Qayamat: City Under Threat", confesses she was clueless about movies when she entered the industry.

"On this beautiful day, I complete 10 years in the movie business," Neha posted on Twitter Thursday.

Needless to say, she was nostalgic.

New Delhi, July 11 : India plans to set up a new regulator for the aviation sector -- the Civil Aviation Authority -- that will replace the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

The union cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Thursday gave “in-principle” approval to the civil aviation ministry's proposal to set up the new regulator.

Addressing the media after the cabinet meeting, Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari said the government would introduce a bill in the upcoming monsoon session of parliament.
