Dharamsala, July 1 : Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama wants to pay his respects to his ailing friend and former South African president Nelson Mandela, an aide said here Monday.

"His Holiness (the Dalai Lama) is keen to pay respects to his long-time friend Nelson Mandela, provided it doesn't cause any inconvenience to anyone, individuals or the government there," an aide of the Dalai Lama told IANS.

"If South Africa is comfortable with his visit, he would be happy to meet personally Mandela's family members," he added.

New Delhi, July 1 : Two-wheeler major Hero MotoCorp would launch its complete range of overhauled products around Diwali this year followed by the launch of a complete new bike in 2014, an official said here Monday.

According to Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL), the modifications to its existing range of 19 bikes and scooters will be done in partnership with US-based superbike company Erik Buell Racing (EBR) whose 49.2 percent stake was bought by Hero early Saturday.

New Delhi, July 1 :  Reliance Infrastructure Monday said it has exited the 23-km airport Metro operation and the takeover of its operations by Delhi Metro Rail Corp (DMRC) has been completed.

"Delhi Airport Metro Express, a special purpose vehicle of Reliance Infrastructure, had terminated the concession agreement with the DMRC for the Delhi airport Metro line nearly nine months back, in a notice issued in October 2012," the company said.

New Delhi, July 1 : Indian two-wheeler major Hero MotoCorp has bought 49.2 percent equity in the US-based superbike company Erik Buell Racing (EBR) for $25 million, officials said here Monday.

The first tranche of $15 million was invested by Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL) early Saturday morning (Indian time), while the remaining amount of $10 million will be invested in the next nine months.

The remaining share of 50.8 percent would be held by Erik Buell and his wife.

Los Angeles, July 1 :  The earlier the parents divorce in a child's life, the more significant is the impact on relationships as the child matures, reveals a new study.

Those who experience parental divorce early tend to have more insecure relationships with parents as adults than those who experience divorce later, researchers say.

"By studying the variation in parental divorce, we are hoping to learn more about how early experiences predict the quality of people's close relationships later in life," Chris Fraley of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign said.
