The government of New South Wales has indicated that it is moving to terminate its obligations to develop the coal mine in Cobbora.

The state government Treasurer said that government will no longer be obliged to develop the mine. He said that the government has unwound the "dud deal of the century" by concluding the agreement.

The mine at Cobbora located near Dunedoo in the state's central west was to be developed under the GenTrader agreement with Origin Energy as agreed by the previous government.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has imposed a fine of $61,200 on supermarket chain, Coles for allegedly misleading its customers about the country of origin of some of its fresh products.

Mumbai, July 1 : Pakistani actress Humaima Malick, acclaimed for her role in "Bol", has reportedly been approached for Kunal Deshmukh's next directorial venture that features Emraan Hashmi in the lead.

Deshmukh's yet untitled film will go on floors by the end of July.

A source close to the team said: "Humaima has been approached, but nothing is official right now. A screen test has been conducted, UTV and Kunal are looking at a fresh pairing for Emraan and if things would fall in place, in all probability she will step into the project."

New Delhi, July 1 :  Illegal wildlife trading networks have cross-border linkages and there is need for greater coordination between the security agencies of different countries to deal with this threat, CBI director Ranjit Sinha said here Monday.

Sinha also noted that India faces formidable challenges in the protection of tigers in the wild.

Jeh Wadia-owned low-cost carrier GoAir has announced its decision to further expand its fleet of planes to offer more flights between metro and non-metro cities.

GoAir Chief Executive Giorgio De Roni said that the airline would induct four new planes by the end of FY2013-14 to offer more flights between metro and non-metro cities of India.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 1 : Technopark-based Rain Concert Technologies has won the Nasscom Award for its flagship solution 'inE SafeCity' in the top solution for safety and security category.

Nasscom, after the brutal Delhi rape incident in December last year, had launched a competition to find the top safety and security solution in the country.

Rain Concert CEO Abhilash Pillai said "inE" was a holistic model to resolve safety and security concerns.
