Washington, Feb 26 : Indian-origin Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has said that President Barack Obama `needs to show leadership' and stop trying to `scare' Americans about looming spending cuts.

Jindal said following the National Governors Association''s morning meeting with Obama that `the president needs to stop campaigning, stop trying to scare the American people, stop trying to scare states.'

Washington, Feb 26 : Higher levels of toxic metals were found in the blood and urine of children with autism as compared to other children, according to an American study.

The study, led by James Adams, professor of materials science and engineering, Arizona State University, involved 55 autistic children aged between five and 16 years, as compared to 44 non-autistic children of similar age and gender.

Seoul, Feb 26 : South Korea's overseas direct investment fell for the first time in three years as people refrained from investing into overseas mining projects amid global uncertainties.

Reported direct investment overseas declined 14.3 percent from a year earlier to $39.01 billion in 2012 after rising 32.5 percent in 2011 and 11.7 percent in 2010, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance said Tuesday.
