London, Nov 13 : German supermodel Claudia Schiffer is set to launch her own clothing line.

The 39-year-old beauty has quit the catwalk and is set join the likes of Elle Macpherson, Cindy Crawford and Kate Moss with her new venture.

"I have been approached so many times over the last 20 years but it has never been the right time," the Telegraph quoted her saying.

"Now, I would consider it but it would have to be the right thing. They would need to be clothes that I would want to wear," she added. (ANI)

Buenos Aires - German former top model Claudia Schiffer was in Argentina with designer Karl Lagerfeld to promote Chanel's new international campaign, Argentine media reported Friday.

Schiffer, 39, and Lagerfeld arrived in the country Tuesday.

Lagerfeld, head designer for Chanel, photographed the 1990s fashion icon Tuesday in a black jacket and hat reminiscent of the local "gauchos" at an estancia (ranch) in the Buenos Aires suburb of Montegrande.

Following the photo shoot, both stars reportedly ate a typical Argentine "asado," or meal of roast meat.

The 39-year-old said: "I''m finished with the runway. I won''t miss it. I am still modelling and I enjoy that a lot - but no more runways."

London, Sep 12 : German model Claudia Schiffer says that she will still continue doing nude shoots even at the age of 70.

Schiffer, 39, who showed not a hint of mummy-fatigue when she posed for German magazine Tank, is more used to school runs than fashion runways nowadays, but that will not stop her from shedding her clothes.

“As a model it is normal to be taking your clothes off all the time. I wouldn’t think I was ever too old to do something like that,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

Washington, Mar 30 : Supermodel Claudia Schiffer has fulfilled her childhood dream of living in a farm by building up a collection of countryside animals and exotic pets.

The 38-year-old model keeps her pets at her country retreat in Suffolk, England.

Her farm contains three dogs, two sheep, four chickens, a pregnant pig, two black swans, four ducks, three tortoises and a parrot.

Schiffer compares her everyday routine to living in a "zoo".
